Cytosine methylation is an important mechanism for dynamical regulation of gene expression. We identified 2162 differentially methylated regions in different soybean organs and further analyzed the interplays among DNA methylation, smRNA abundance, transposable element (TE) distribution, and gene expression in soybean.
